Manchester City 5-0 WiganManchester City 5-0 Wigan: The Manchester City won with clarity and authority to Wigan 5-0 in the Capital One Cup, avenging lost the final last summer in the FA Cup.

The "citizens" for their third straight victory and despite playing with a team of substitutes, the City never took pains to Wigan. At 33 minutes, the striker Edin Dzeko was unmarked and after a shot by Fernandinho defined right.

The second half was a display of Stevan Jovetic. At 60 minutes became his first goal with the blue shirt, but not the only. The Pellegrini did not lower the intensity of the game and thanks to an impeccable free kick Tecero Yaya Toure came in 76.

In the final section, Jovetic to Spanish 83 and Jesus Navas in the 86th, were responsible for closing the scoring and give passage to the next round to Manchester City.
