Chelsea took the Premier League lead today by beating Birmingham 3-0 while Arsenal goalless draw with Aston Villa.
Frank Lampard scored twice and Chelsea took a point ahead of Manchester United, which advanced to the finals of the League Cup Odds to overcome Manchester City 3-2.
Chelsea have a game in which the Red Devils.
Arsenal finished third, two of the pointer, after failing to defeat the goal of Villa, seventh in the table with four points ahead of Birmingham.
