 Barcelona took a major step towards the final Champions League football by winning 2-0 at Real Madrid with a brace from Lionel Messi in the first leg of the semifinals, played at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium in Madrid.
The two teams were very cautious, knowing that we still have a return match in Barcelona on Tuesday, until Messi came 76 minutes to finish the white back of the net pass from the right of the Dutch Ibrahim Afellay.
La Pulga topped its task in 87 minutes, going at speed from midfield, getting rid of up to four players to score a second with a cross shot to the output of Casillas.

 Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho said today that "no favorites" in the first leg of the semifinals of the Champions League that the white team will play on Wednesday against Barcelona.
"For me there are favorites, is a semi-final of Champions League betting , two rival teams who are well known, with tradition, with players who know what it is to succeed, you know what big games," said Mourinho press conference.
"Maybe tomorrow after the match you can say it is a little bit ahead or it is a little behind, but now there are no favorites," he said.
Real Madrid coach chose not to pass what would be a good result for him saying "you never know what a good result."

 FC Barcelona, leader of the Spanish soccer league, won 2-0 at Osasuna on Saturday at home with goals from David Villa and Argentina's Lionel Messi, staying with Real Madrid eight points over second, which won 6-3 to Valencia at the Mestalla stadium.
In the match for the 33rd round of the championship, the club went ahead on the scoreboard by Villa, who scored, breaking his slump scoring in minute 24, while Messi, who entered the pitch as miutes substitute in the 58, put the final 2-0 on the scoreboard in the final stages of mourning (87).
With that target the Argentine scored his 50th so far this season, a record in Spanish football.
Another Argentine who was in luck on Saturday was Gonzalo Higuain, who scored a hat-trick in Real Madrid's victory in the Brazilian Kaka signed a brace. Both scored their goals after the Frenchman Karim Benzema opened the scoring.

 On Friday March 18 will be held the draw for the quarterfinals of the Champions League betting.
