Real Madrid will not Sign more Players

Real Madrid Betting News at BSN SportsReal Madrid will not sign more players off the market this season after acquiring the wheel of Liverpool, Xabi Alonso, said the Spanish club's director general Jorge Valdano.

Madrid has spent some 254 million euros (365 million U.S. dollars) for the purchase of eight players since Florentino Perez returned to the presidency in June.

The main objective was to complete the template and there will be no more signings, Valdano said on Wednesday at the Cadena SER radio.

Alonso went smoothly rigorous medical examination on Wednesday to join a group that includes the recent signings of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaká and Karim Benzema.

Real Madrid paid 94 million euros (135 million U.S. dollars) to Manchester United for Cristiano, 65 million euros (93.5 billion dollars) for Kaka to Milan, and 35 million euros (50 billion dollars) by the Lyon Benzema.

Liverpool and Real Madrid - Agreement to Transfer of Xabi Alonso

Liverpool and Real Madrid  agreement for the transfer of Xabi AlonsoLiverpool and Real Madrid announced on Tuesday it reached an agreement for the transfer of Xabi Alonso.

The English team, which finished second in the Premier League last season, said the financial details of the agreement remain confidential and will not be disclosed.

Madrid announced in a statement on Wednesday that Alonso will go to the Spanish capital to pass the relevant examination and complete the transfer.

According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Real Madrid would have paid 30 million euros (43.2 billion dollars) by the Spanish players, who signed a contract for four years.

The newspaper El Mundo reported that Alonso would have an annual salary of 4.5 million, and that would be the final signing of the Madrid market passes.

His arrival at Real Madrid will strengthen the midfield making him one of the pillars on which rotates the whole of (the coach Chilean Manuel) Pellegrini, Madrid said on its website.
