Germany vs. Spain Betting Odds - 2010 World Cup2010 World Cup betting is about to reach its peak as the semifinals are about to take place in South Africa, and Wednesday’s match will be between three-time champion Germany, who will take on the underachieving Spanish team that has never won the World Cup.  Spain beat Germany in the final of the 2008 European championships, so the Germans will have revenge on their minds.

Germany Spain Betting – Wednesday, 2:30 PM ET

The Germans put on another clinical showing of counterattacking brilliance in their 4-0 demolition of Argentina, their third match of the tournament with four goals.  Germany was up 1-0 after three minutes thanks to Thomas Muller, before scoring three times in the last 22 minutes when Argentina had to chase the game.  Miroslav Klose scored twice to move himself into a tie for second on the all-time World Cup goal-scoring list as the Germans broke out time and time again.  Bastian Schweinsteiger was the man of the match and dominated the Argentinean midfield at both ends of the pitch.  However, a yellow card against the Argentineans will keep Muller out of the match against Spain, and those who are betting on NFL odds will tell you how important suspensions like this can be.

Brazil vs. Netherlands Betting OddsNetherlands and Brazil will both be trying to pick up a win on Friday at the World Cup betting when they battle at Nelson Mandela Stadium.

Brazil have some problems to form the team.

Without Elano, Felipe Melo, Baptista and Ramires, not to have too many midfielders Dunga, who will have to dig into the bench and call Joshua, now replaced Felipe Melo from Portugal, or the player from Flamengo Jose Pereira Kleberson, a man who traveled to South Africa as a filler and may charge an unexpected role.

Netherlands with fights.

Van Persie was replaced ten minutes from the end of the match against Slovakia, Holland ended with a 2-1 victory, and he approached the bench directed the coach looked unfriendly.

World Cup Round of 16 – Portugal versus Spain

Portugal versus Spain betting oddsIn the summer months, the world of sports betting may seem a bit slow. Baseball is daily, and it is never too early for NFL betting; but this year fans are getting incredibly excited because of the quadrennial soccer tournament held in South Africa. You can bet on World Cup, the most popular, anticipated and arguably exciting sports competition on the globe.  Only 10 teams are left of the original 32, with plenty of surprises, and as the round of 16 comes to a close, it is time to look ahead to World Cup quarterfinals betting.

The final two spots for the quarterfinals will be filled tomorrow, the last of which is between Spain and Portugal.  The winner of the battle of Iberia will take on the victor of Japan-Paraguay, both of whom will be considered underdogs to either Spain or Portugal.  Thus a win on Tuesday likely means a path through to the semifinals.  With the offensive capabilities and sheer talent on display, neither team can afford to look past their opponent.

Cristiano Ronaldo will lead a Portugal team that finished second in their group, behind tournament favourites Brazil. Group G, instantly labled the group of death, failed to live up to the tension and expectations.
