Is the eighth in a major final between the American sisters, and fourth in the All England Club.

Serena needed 2 hours, 49 minutes to overcome Dementieva in the longest women's semifinal at Wimbledon in the last 40 years. Venus, however, was barely 51 minutes to dispatch to Safina.

My gosh, this is my eighth final and is a dream come true to be here again and have the opportunity to lift the trophy, Venus said, five times champion at Wimbledon.

Venus beat Serena in the final last year, although the smallest of the late Williams won the 2002 and 2003.

A quarter final is very exciting. It was hard before I watch a game so dramatic match, Venus said, referring to the duel of Serena. It was very difficult but the hardest part is coming to play against Serena Williams.

One of the Williams has won seven of the last nine finals in the All England Club.

Venus tries to become the first woman since Steffi Graf (1991-93) who was crowned at Wimbledon three consecutive years.

Serena is 5-2 on the sale of her sister at the end of majors, and both are tied 10-10 in all their previous clashes.

The more you play, it gets better, said Serena. When you play our game on Saturday will be around. This is what we dream When I grew up in Compton (California) for about 20 years. Because of this work, and this is what we want. Like I wanted to win it today, and she wanted me to win. This question.

The difference between the two semi-marked.

Venus won the first nine points of the match against Safina, and only faced one break point in the third game of the first set. Also, just a mistake not forced.

You can stay focused, said Venus. Help I have so much experience in this field.

Serena, however, had a much more difficult duel against Dementieva. The U.S. saved the match point with a volley of setback when it lost 5-4 in the third set.

Serena dominated with his serve in the first set, after Dementieva broke serve in the first game of the match, but could not with his opponent in the tiebreaker. In the second, the U.S. again go up a break, but allowed the Russian to get filled at the meeting prior to return to steal the take.

It is without doubt one of my most dramatic victories, said Serena.

Dementieva has never won a Grand Slam title, but lost the finals of the French Open and United States Open in 2004.

Elena played very well, and gave him a fabulous party to the public, said Serena. It was really difficult.

On Friday, the semifinals will take place in the male branch, where the Swiss Roger Federer faces German Tommy Haas ( betting line at Federer is -1100) , and American Andy Roddick hits the British Andy Murray (betting line at Andy Murray is -330) .
