Serena Williams Won her third TitleSerena Williams won her third title Saturday by defeating Wimbledon 7-6 (3), 6-2 to her sister Venus in the final.

Serena also beat Venus in the finals of Wimbledon in 2002 and 2003 but lost to her older sister in the match for the title last year at the All England Club.

She (Serena) was too good, had an answer for everything, said Venus during the delivery of trophies.

Serena said she was surprised at having defeated her sister, who sum five Wimbledon singles championships and was seeking his third in a row.

It feels incredible, it's a blessing. I feel like that should not be holding this trophy is the name of Venus, she always wins, said Serena.

Serena is 6-2 mark against Venus in the final Grand Slam, and adds 11 titles in his career majors.

Serena dominated the match with a better serve, more intense in the tiebreaker and absolute domination in the second set.

When Venus was a setback to the system at the match point, Serena fell to their knees on the grass of Central Cancha. As always happens in the duel between the sisters, the conclusion was fairly quiet.

The Williams sisters have won eight of 10 Wimbledon titles this decade.
