Australian Open Betting OddsRoger Federer, the top favorite, will debut at the Australian Open Odds against Russia's Igor Andreev, while the Spanish Rafael Nadal, seeded second, will premiere at the local player Peter Luczak, as the drawing was held today in Melbourne. Federer shares the top of the box with Russian Nikolay Davydenko (6), which would be in quarters, and the Serbian Novak Djokovic (3), whom he would cross in the semifinals. Djokovic will play their first match against Daniel Gimeno-Traver Spanish.

For the lower half of table-defending champion Nadal-quarters he would deal with Britain's Andy Murray (5) and in the semifinals with Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro (4) or with American Andy Roddick (7). The Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the year, starting next Monday.

Other first-round clashes which will be involved are the Spanish players Fernando Verdasco (9) with the Australian Carsten Ball, invited by the organization; Tommy Robredo (16) with Colombian Santiago Giraldo, Marcel Granollers with Swede Robin Soderlin (8), Feliciano Lopez and Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas and David Ferrer (17) with Italy's Andreas Seppi.
