Back to golf after a sex scandal and tries to straighten his life, Tiger Woods did not hesitate to show his game is still intact.
Woods started in full swing at the Masters in Augusta to be located at the outposts of the board of the betting positions. After the front nine, had a card of 33 strokes, three under par.
She excelled with an eagle on the 8th hole by a stroke from about 10 yards (9 meters), recovering from his only bogey in the first part of the trail in the field of Augusta National.
He then executed a brilliant birdie from an area of pine trees with iron 5. He did it with a putt from 12 yards (11 meters) which made the audience roar. He was only two strokes behind leaders Phil Mickelson and veteran Tom Watson.
Without the chin that had during practice rounds this week, the world number one received applause when he began his journey.

Masters Preview – Who Will Challenge for the Green Jacket? |

The Masters odds have some of the usual cast of characters at the top including Tiger Woods at 7 and 2, Jim Furyk at 25 to 1 and Phil Mickelson at 10 to 1. The Furyk odds seem a little high considering how he has played, but Mickelson and Woods always perform well in majors.
The sportsbook makers take a lot into account when figuring odds for the Masters, and sometimes being a fan favorite is one of those things. As an example you can look at the year that Phil Mickelson is having. He has made the cut in all seven tournaments he has entered, but his best finish is tied for eighth at the Pebble Beach Pro Am. His scoring average is above 70 and he is 38th on the Fedex Cup list. Those are hardly the numbers to justify 10 to 1 odds at the Masters.
When the online sports betting begins to pick up for the Masters, it makes sense to look at players that have performed well so far this year as opposed to relying on sentimental favorites. A good example of a player to watch is Anthony Kim. In his first six tournaments of 2010 Kim has made the cut all six times, has a win and a second place finish and is second in the Fedex Cup standing. His scoring average is below 70 and he is a 20 to 1 favorite to win.

Manny Pacquiao has fought the best fighters of this generation and was successful in his attempt to win seven world titles. Meanwhile, Joshua Clottey is being questioned by some as a legitimate opponent for Manny Pacquiao considering his recent loss to Miguel Cotto, a fighter Pacquiao defeated by TKO on the 12th round on their last outing.
Clottey was spotted by Team Pacquiao member Roger Fernandez doing some jogging at the convention hall while wearing thermal suits for 45 minutes and then skip ropes. Because of this, Roger surmised that Clottey is still overweight, since why would he wear thermal suits unless he is not trying to reduce weight. On the other hand, Manny Pacquiao had a hearty breakfast and weight just right at 146 lbs.
Pacquiao is a 6-1 favorite in boxing odds at Sportsbook.com. The rounds option is listed at 9.5 with the over at -185.
