When the British Open approaches, it is stylish to spend your money betting on a Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson. But golf betting is not like NFL betting. In the NFL every game is played on a flat surface with equal markings. On the PGA tour, every course is different.
As college football betting starts to heat up in the United States, the best golfers in the world are meeting at the old course at St. Andrews to decide who the British Open champion will be for 2010. All of the familiar names will be there, but before you bet on someone you recognize, you may want to consider how well he will really do in this tournament.
Tiger Woods (9-2)
Tiger has had a rough season. To go along with his personal escapades, which are adversely affecting his golf game significantly, are his cries of wolf that have the entire golf world shaking their heads. This sore neck never came to light in any of his previous tour failures this season, and the episode raised a lot of questions.

Rafael Nadal is planted in the semifinals of Wimbledon betting after deploying his best tennis on the grass track and overcome London Swede 3-6, 6-3, 7-6, 6-1.
The Spaniard was not easy, but showed why he is the best player in the world right now. The player's winning mentality Manacor has no limits and need to get over not having his day and practice your best tennis odds rival, something that did not happen today though was very dark start to the interests of Nadal.
With two balls to break Soderling in favor of partially exploited and 5-0 in favor of Sweden in the first set, nothing to foreshadow what was to happen next on the grass of Wimbledon. The Spaniard did not give any time lost and almost back from a set that any other player would have given up circuit. He managed just three games, but was the beginning of a reaction that led him to get the party.
All this occurred despite the umpire clearly hurt the world number one when Soderling made a point after the Swede had asked the hawk eye after being hit that bounced on the line.
