2012 Belmont Stakes Early Odds Preview

The son of Flower Alley will try to become the twelfth Triple Crown, a feat not achieved since 'Affirmed' did in 1978, having spent 34 years without a new monarch.

The challenge of I'll Have Another will clear on June 9th at Belmont Park Racetrack.

The Kentucky Derby winner and Preakness were practicing; gallop a mile (1.6 km) oval track and a half miles (2.4 km), rode just under a mile with the Humberto Gomez rider training on the mountain. The only difference was the weather.

Only eleven horses have been able to write their names in the select group of triple-crowned, with them in 1919 'Sir Barton', 1930 'Gallant Fox', 1935 'Omaha', 1937 'Ward Admiral', 1941 'Whirlaway', 1943 'Count Fleet ', 1946' Assault ', 1948' Citation ', 1973' Secretariat ', 1977' Seattle Slew 'and 1978' Affirmed '.

Winning the Triple Crown is a difficult feat to perform, because of the limited time of three races, their schedules and held in different states.
