Super Bowl XLVIII bettingThe Super Bowl is the highest point in the career of an athlete in the NFL and be a champion is the crowning of a job well done. Individually, the MVP trophy rewards the best athlete in the end, immortalizing the greatest player in the history of American football league in the world. But you know what are the names of the trophies and who were these men who have done much for the sport?
The championship trophy bears the name of the first Super Bowl champion coach, Vince Lombardi. The former coach of the Green Bay Packers is an idol and a reference when it concerns the head coachs. NFL legend, Lombardi led the Packers in conqusita the first two Super Bowls and revolutionized the game.
Vince began his career in 1954 at the New York Giants, serving as offensive backfield coach, and was there until 1958. In 1959, Lombardi moved to Green Bay Packers, where as Head Coach, he won the NFL six times and the Super Bowl on two occasions. Lombardi, in 136 games as coach, has frightening 96 wins, 34 losses and six draws.
The trophy received this designation in 1970 when Pete Rozelle, the NFL commissioner at the time, decided to honor former coach Vince Lombardi after he died because of an intestinal cancer. His debut in Super Bowls happened in the fifth edition of the final showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Colts. The Baltimore team was crowned champion at the time.

Logo in their early years ahead of the NFL, Pete Rozelle met with the vice president of Tiffany & Co, and after the meeting it was decided that the famous jewelry company would be responsible for making the trophy for winning the Super Bowl. The Vince Lombardi Trophy measures 56 cm, weighs 3.2 pounds and is made of solid silver,

Generally, the winning team has its best athlete on the field being awarded the title of MVP of the game and this receives the trophy named Pete Rozelle.
If you are now accustomed to hear of Roger Goodell as NFL Commissioner, years ago who was in the league sent Rozelle. He was commissioner from January 1960 to November 1989. Pete Rozelle was a very influential person and did so much for the league, making a league expansion. If today's NFL is a great league and that continues to grow, Rozelle has a large percentage of "fault" in all this.

In 1991, the NFL took the name of former commissioner for the title of best player of the final. Five years later, Rozelle died in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
In your opinion, who will carry the Vince Lombardi Trophy and the Pete Rozelle Trophy?
