The Indianapolis Colts are expected to run away with the AFC South this season and end up as Super Bowl champs. The Colts have the best quarterback in the league in Peyton Manning and perhaps the best group of wide receivers as well. If the Colts can keep their defense healthy they are capable of making it to the Super Bowl again but history has shown that Super Bowl runner-ups oftentimes struggle the next season. The Colts should rule the AFC South though while Houston, Tennessee and Jacksonville battle for second place. The Texans and Titans are 30-1 in Super Bowl odds while the Jaguars are 60-1. History is also against the Super Bowl champion Saints. It has been a long time since a team won back-to-back Super Bowls. The last team to pull off the feat was the New England Patriots in 2004 and 2005. The Saints have a dominant offense led by Drew Brees but they have not proven they are a team that can handle the role of a favorite and they will be targeted in 2010. The Saints are favored in the NFC South but the Atlanta Falcons are very capable of winning the division this season with Matt Ryan at quarterback. The Falcons are an interesting longshot in Super Bowl odds at 25-1. The Carolina Panthers are hoping that quarterback Matt Moore can duplicate his late season success in 2010 while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have some work to do if they want to be competitive this year.
