NFL Payoffs Betting Odds and PicksSuper Bowl betting players know that you must have a good defense to get to the Super Bowl, but any team will tell you that they can overcome that with a good quarterback. That is why the quarterback matchup in Sunday’s game between Green Bay and Chicago is so intriguing, and it’ll hold the key to this NFC North rivalry.

Packers vs. Bears Betting – Sunday, 3:00 PM ET

Aaron Rodgers finished the regular season third in passer rating, and he was tied for sixth in touchdowns with 28 with 11 picks. He has raised his game in the postseason, completing 77.8% of his passes for 546 yards, six touchdowns and no picks in wins at Philadelphia and Atlanta. NFL playoff betting players knew that Rodgers was a good quarterback, but now there is talk of him being among the league’s elite, and he’s probably the best quarterback left. Rodgers has fared well in six meetings with the Bears in his career, coming in with a 92.6 passer rating, throwing for 1,346 yards with seven touchdowns and four picks, although he was picked off once in each game this season.

Jay Cutler has improved his decision-making this season, cutting his picks down to 16, and he finished tied for 13th with 23 touchdowns, and he had a passer rating with a mark of 86.3. Cutler definitely played well in last week’s win over Seattle, throwing for 274 yards and touchdown while running for two more, and his scrambling is an underrated part of his game. In five career games against the Packers, Cutler has completed 57% of his passes for 1,139 yards, five touchdowns and nine picks for a passer rating of 65.0. He threw a couple of picks in the 10-3 loss in Green Bay in the last week of the regular season, and that is always a worry with Cutler.

Those making NFL predictions will research this matchup right up until game time, and you have to give the edge to Rodgers on a bunch of different levels. He makes better decisions than Cutler, who has improved but is far more prone to poor moments, and Rodgers is also aided by much better weapons than Cutler has. Both offensive lines can struggle with the pass rush, but both Rodgers and Cutler have shown they can move in and out of the pocket. Both have cannons for an arm, but Rodgers is more accurate on essentially all the throws. Whoever gets more support from the running game will get an edge in their corner as it will slow down the pass rush. Aaron Rodgers is the reason that Green Bay is favored on the road against their oldest rival, and the reason they’ll claim a win in your online sports betting book.
