The team has enough trust in his offensive line so far, yet his star running back has not produced the expected results, including last Sunday totaled negative numbers (-3 yards on 6 carries) without mentioning that he has only managed to score a touchdown in four games as a starter. "It's truly amazing," said Zach Miller, tight end for the Oakland Raiders. "The rushing game was always a great feature of our team. We need to offer protection to our line, we need to run the ball. We could not do the job well and that affects us greatly. " The Raiders now cope not only the problem of McFadden, it is equally clear that their starting quarterback, JaMarcus Russell, has failed to meet expectations that characterized last season. In four games of the 2009 campaign only 506 total yards for a touchdown alone, making it one of the least effective quarterbacks this year.
