Giants vs. 49ers Odds – Sunday, 6:00 PM ET

The Giants went into Lambeau Field as a Bet Online underdog for the second time in four years, and they came out with their second victory in a 37-20 romp over the defending champions from Green Bay. Eli Manning was 21-of-33 for 330 yards, three touchdowns and a pick as he outplayed Aaron Rodgers, and the defense continued to play well, forcing four turnovers (including three fumbles) and they were aided by a Green Bay team that looked rusty due to their bye week as the Packers couldn’t hold onto the ball.

Still, the Giants racked up four sacks and forced the Packers into those mistakes, and players that buy price per head software that have seen their defense play like this before; it ended in a Super bowl title.

The 49ers also lived off turnovers against New Orleans, forcing five in a 36-32 upset of the Saints at home, and that is how you slow down the high-powered New Orleans offense. But the 49ers’ offense also stepped up, and if you polled players that work with pay head systems about the matchup between Brees and Alex Smith, at least 90% would have taken Brees. But there was Smith, going 24-of-42 for 299 yards and three touchdowns with no picks, and he also ran for a 28-yard score in a wild closing stretch to finish the game. Vernon Davis also caught seven passes for 180 yards and two scores, one of which was the game-winner with nine seconds remaining.

San Francisco comes into this game as a 2.5-point favorite at home, where they are 4-1 SU and 2-3 ATS in their last five meetings with the Giants, with three games going under the posted total. One of those games was a 27-20 win for the 49ers in Week 10, and this game should be even closer when you consider what is at stake. Smith has won a lot of critics over with his performance this season, and yesterday may have been the best game of his career. He may need to play better to beat the Giants, and a major factor will be his offensive line; they have to protect Smith from a fierce New York pass rush. In a close game, take San Francisco to barely cover the online betting spread.
