Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their last game.

On their last game the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans saw how Doug Martin ran 95 yards on a total of 24 carries.

This was his debut in the NFL and the team was very pleased to see the kind of consistent ground attack he delivered. Against the Panthers they were able to run the ball 36 times. The team could not really count on LaGarrete Blount like they did last season because he suffered a stinger that got him to miss practice on Wednesday. Quarterback Freeman was able to complete 16 of 24 passes only. He had good mobility but he was sacked a couple of times. Freeman concentrated a lot of his passes to Vincent Jackson who was able to get 10 fired his way.

The Tampa Bay defense was able to dominate the Carolina Panthers by holding down their offense to a 0.8 average each time they would carry the ball. Cam Newton was not able to generate the plays he usually does and even running back DeAngelo Williams was basically annulled for the game. Newton was able to throw a total of 303 yards but only completed 106 of them as Ronde Barber and Ahmad Black intercepted some of those passes. Rhonde Barber was on fire and showed off with 5 great tackles. Adding to the great defense that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers put up in this game, cornerback Aqib Talib was able to block a punt in the last quarter of the game. The last time a player in Tampa Bay had been able to do this was back in 2009.

New York Giants in their last game

Last game against the Dallas Cowboys disappointed many Giants fans. They had a lot of injuries on the main roster so this made it easier for the Cowboys to dominate the ground and the air game. For this upcoming game the Giants are hoping to get Amukamara back for this match as well as Marvin Austin who is a defensive tackle for the Giants. On this last game the Dallas Cowboys was succeeding in the passing game and this resulted in disadvantage to the Giants. For this game the Giants will attempt to get more action and plays from ends Tuck and Jason Pierre-Paul.

Bradshaw was the savior for the Giants on their game last week. He was responsible for 17 of the 19 rush attempts that the team had. Rookie David Wilson was not able to do much as he was only able to do two carries that added up to 4 yards and a fumble considered key in the game. Despite the loss, Eli Manning had a decent game. He was able throw for 213 yards nailing 21 of 32 passes. He had a good connection with tight end Martellus Bennet and did not incur in any interceptions. Victor Cruz also received some of Manning’s passes on 11 occasions. Experts who analyzed this game believe that if the Buccaneers manage to take away Cruz and Nicks then Bennett will be the man.
