2012 NFL Free PicksIf you ask anyone with an online sportsbook, they will tell you that NFL football is a fantastic sport to bet on. Football betting can be lazy- you only have to pay attention on one day a week, sometimes, and all the games happen at once. You get all the stress over with, in a few short hours. A problem does present itself, however, when it comes to betting on football. As you approach your online bookie, it can be increasingly difficult to choose which games to bet on. All of the teams play at once! Some strong teams and playing, some weak, but how does one choose? Well, that’s what I’m here for. Each week I keep my eye on a few games that interest me. I look for games with some fanfare, as they will be exciting to watch, but also games with clear betting lines and the opportunity to make some money. So here we go, get to your betting websites and let’s get started. Join Now to Bet on this Game!

Game 1: San Francisco 49ers at New York Jets, Sunday September 30th 1:00 PM EST

The Jets have been playing well this season, and with a win in week four over the niners, they could solidify a position as the AFC East division favorite. The boys from San Fran, though, started off strong but have struggled as of late. In their week three game, they lost of tough match against the underdog team from Minnesota. They did not tally one rushing TD and Alex Smith only threw for one in the air. 2nd year QB Christian Ponder was able to read and dismantle the San Fran D with what seemed like relative ease. Their play was not an accurate reflection of their talent, and should do well against the Jets this week. However, you can never count out momentum, and New York has it right now.

Game 2: Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons, Sunday September 30th 1:00 PM EST

Week 3 was a story of opposite themes for each of these two teams. On one end, the Atlanta Falcons demolished the San Diego Chargers defence, scoring four touchdowns. Meanwhile the Falcon defence did the opposite, holding the Chargers to only three points in the entire game. Carolina’s team, on the other hand, is coming off of a dismal performance against the Giants. They lost badly, scoring only seven points and giving up 36. The passing game just couldn’t be found and Cam Newton threw to the wrong team three times. The rushing game was unable to pick up the slack- only 60 total rushing yards all game.
