NFL Betting Playoffs Around the Corner

NFL Betting Playoffs Update at BSN SportsThe NFL betting season is long and exhausting, that's why only those who got over the injuries, the swings and get a good seal will be able to have their qualification.

Many times we have seen teams with spectacular bursts remain in the way and many simply progress through the flight that brought the outset. Once you start the playoffs become easy prey for those teams who are experiencing a better time (even though having marks below them).

It is possible that in this campaign has not the sharpest example of the San Diego Chargers, who for years are used to have good closure after dismal start. The Chargers have moved from first place in the AL West to the Denver Broncos, who started the great feeling being at the dawn of the season with seven straight victories and were ratified as one of the leading contenders for the Super Bowl Odds . The Broncos now share second place in the Conference along with the Cincinnati Bengals, who have been one of the great revelations, if not most of 2009, are just three games in Indianapolis who surely can not achieve. New Orleans has a 12-0 mark with two games over Minnesota, which fell on Sunday night in Arizona. The Cardinals without making much noise command the National West with 8-4.

Now see what the strategy Jim Caldwell of the Indianapolis Colts and Sean Payton of the New Orleans Saints for the rest of the season. Clearly seeking to remain unbeaten, but above all to take first place in their respective conferences to receive the playoffs at home. It would be amazing to play in the Super Bowl makes perfect, but that is another matter. The question if forced to tie first place in their groups would be:

Did they start Jim Caldwell and Sean Payton to rest players? On one side is good insofar as it gives time to get injuries, but otherwise there is a risk that well-oiled machines begin to jingle. We have seen more than once how teams that rely on the first playoff weekend noticeably struggling for the semifinal round. I think that should be followed with a complete squad the whole way.

It is soon to Indianapolis will welcome the Denver Broncos visit the Jacksonville Jaguars to host New York Jets and close in Buffalo. The Saints travel to Atlanta, will play at home against Dallas and Tampa and finish in Carolina.

In closing let me share an interesting wrinkle. The Super Bowl XLIV edition, to be played next February, will be held in Miami where the Colts have played three times. They fell into the issue III against the Jets (Joe Namath guaranteed victory for New Yorkers), in the V edition won a victory against Dallas with a field goal by rookie Jim O'Brien at the last minute and managed the publishing XLI victory over Chicago, under a torrential downpour.
