Pittsburgh Steelers Odds to WIN the SuperbowlThe Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to terms with offensive tackle, five-time Pro Bowl, Flozell Adams, on a two-year contract, according to a league source.

Replace Willie Colon

Adams, 35 years old, visited the Steelers in late June and took a physical exam. Adams will take the place of the injured right tackle Willie Colon, who is out for the NFL betting season after tearing his right Achilles tendon if during offseason training.

Pittsburgh coaches are determining the best conditions for Adams, according to the same source. The Steelers won a Super Bowl left tackle Max Starks playing the right side, and it may be that Adams, a longtime left tackle for the Dallas Cowboys, will be on the opposite side for Pittsburgh.

The Cowboys cut to Adams early in the offseason to avoid paying him his salary of $ 6.5 million in 2010, thinking that their levels have dropped with age, and many saw it as the best tackle on the market.

At least four teams showed interest in Adams, which has sought a deal that hovered between $ 3 and $ 4 million per season.
