Buffalo Bills (3-6) host the Miami Dolphins (4-5)The AFC East will be on the national stage this Thursday night when the Buffalo Bills (3-6) host the Miami Dolphins (4-5).

Here are five issues to consider before the game:

Time to measure the Dolphins: This is when you really know what they are made of the Dolphins youth. Miami was a nice story after starting the football betting season 4-3 with a rookie quarterback (Ryan Tannehill) and a rookie head coach (Joe Philbin). However, the Dolphins have lost two straight and face the hardest part of their schedule. After playing in Buffalo, this Thursday night, Miami hosts the Seattle Seahawks (6-4) and New England Patriots (6-3), then travel to play the San Francisco 49ers (6-2-1) . The Dolphins could quickly fall to 4-9 or 5-8 if not focused.

It's time for Spiller: The hearing will finally have their first chance to see the dynamic running of Buffalo, CJ Spiller. The recruits of the first round of the 2010 draft leads the NFL with 7.2 yards per carry.

The Buffalo coaching staff has struggled to give enough opportunities Spiller this season. Spiller is averaging just 7.5 carries in the last two games. However teammate's injury broker, Fred Jackson, Buffalo should force to give the ball to Spiller against the Miami run defense that sits in the No. 5 in the NFL.

Tannehill Can he recover? The young quarterback had the worst performance of his career in defeat, 37-3, against the Tennessee Titans. Tannehill threw for 237 yards with three interceptions. One of those interceptions was returned for a touchdown. Tannehill played well above expectations in his rookie season. However, it is speculated that Tannehill could be showing signs that he is hitting the rookie wall. The average college season consists of 11 or 12 games. Tannehill needs to be consistent for 16 games.

Gailey against AFC East: The Bills have struggled mightily against their division rivals under the direction of head coach Chan Gailey. Buffalo is 2-13 against the AFC East in nearly three seasons under Gailey. The Bills have never won more than one game in the division and are 0-3 this year. Gailey, who is in the hot seat, must win the division to keep his job beyond this season. Including today's game, the Bills have three games left against AFC East rivals.

Reggie Bush: Miami tailback Reggie Bush, coming off his worst performance of the season. Bush rushed for 21 yards on four carries last week. He was benched for most of the first half after losing a fumble on Miami's second possession. Philbin says Bush is in trouble. But coach used Bush to send a message that the game will not be tolerated evil. Miami's offense needs to Bush, who is one of the few talented team players. The Dolphins have talked about starting their running game again, and this may be the week to do so. The run defense of Buffalo is the worst in the league, allowing 163.7 yards per game.
