New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan and the rest of the Jets’ organization officially have nothing else to lose. The team is hopelessly out of the playoff race and fans want everyone from Ryan to Mark Sanchez run out of town on a rail. The online football betting experts figure that, if there was ever a perfect time to roll out Tim Tebow as the Jets’ starting quarterback, then week 11 against the Rams is the perfect time. Tebow was a perfect 3 for 3 in throwing the ball in the week 10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. That already qualifies him as a more accurate passer than Sanchez.

The St. Louis Rams is showing some significant improvement over where the team was at last year. The online sportsbook experts say that a tie in football is like “kissing your sister.” But the St. Louis Rams will have to admit that getting that tie was probably one of the best things that could have happened to the team this season.

A win over the division-leading 49ers would have been better, of course. But a tie means that the Rams did not lose and cannot get swept by the 49ers this season. New head coach Jeff Fisher is using a baby steps approach to improving the Rams and, so far, it is working.

New York Jets

The Jets has been a circus all season long. But the price per head sports experts note that the Jets have not been a fun circus. The Jets have been more of an embarrassing circus than anything else. Putting Tim Tebow under center cannot possibly make the Jets any worse. On the contrary, a mobile quarterback that can power his way up the middle of a defense, if necessary, could be exactly what the Jets need. The notion that starting Tebow would cause Rex Ryan to lose control of the locker room is completely absurd. Ryan never had control of the locker room to begin with.

St. Louis Rams

It is extremely obvious that all of the Rams’ players are buying into what Jeff Fisher is selling. A bet online review of the Rams’ season shows that, even at 3-5-1, the Rams are a much better team than it was last season. No one expects the Rams to burst onto the playoff scene in one season. But the progress the team is showing under Fisher has to be impressive to even the harshest skeptic.

The Bottom Line

When Tim Tebow was brought to the Jets, it was expected that he would be given the chance to play quarterback. After a lackluster performance in week 10 in Seattle, the Jets can now turn to Tebow knowing that there is no good reason left to preserve the psyche of Mark Sanchez. The Rams will dominate this game from beginning to end, but the Jets may find its new quarterback in the process.

My Pick: St. Louis Rams
