Saints 2013-2014 OddsNew Orleans Saints was a disaster last year. The absence of coach Sean Payton - suspended for kicking the "rewards program" - is deeply, not interim coaches realized organizing team. The perspective is totally different for next season, the return of coach promises to put its house in order, both on and off the field. 7-9 campaign in 2012 was the worst since the arrival of quarterback Drew Brees in 2006.

Not that Brees has had a bad year, but quite the opposite. Were 5,177 yards, 43 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. What killed the Saints last year was the attack can not keep the ball and stay longer in the country, largely due to the absence of Payton calls the plays. With this, the defense is not spectacular, it was a long time in the field and are using. Results: punctuated the attack, but can not control the clock the team had more points than him, losing games.

With the return of Sean Payton, the promise of an attack is even more explosive in 2013. The pieces are almost the same: Marques Colston, Lance Moore and Jimmy Graham are fantastic healthy and impress in training camp. The body of one victim was wide receivers Devery Henderson, the main threat in the long pass. His natural replacement was Joe Morgan, but the WR broke his ACL and will miss the entire season. In the absence of Morgan, veteran Steve Breaston was hired and should take over as the third receiver.

In addition to Henderson, RB Chris Ivory also disappeared, leaving Mark Ingram, Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles responsible for loading the pitch. Although the dynamics gets shorter passes Sproles running with the ball, were 161 receptions and 14 touchdowns in the air for two years. As carried the ball just 48 times last year, Ingram and Thomas fight for the position holder.

If the attack succeeds Giant perspective, defending it's not going well at all. After 7042 meters give the opponents last year, the worst result in the history of the NFL, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo was fired, leading to the controversial Rob Ryan. A household name, no doubt, the problem is that Ryan is most famous for the controversy that good work. Never led a team had more wins than losses in just an opportunity that led the defense in the top 10.

Couple that with a scheme to see drastic change perspective and nebula. So how are doing Eagles and Browns, the exchange program Saints 4-3 to 3-4, but without much preparation and parts for such a change. The situation worsens when the only name signed to improve the fever weak team, Victor Butler, breaks his ACL in his knee and has not played more in 2013. New Orleans came the opposing quarterback only 30 times in 2012, the fifth worst team in the NFL in the category.

At least the major side reinforcements received by insurance outperform cardboard last year. Also rookie Kenny Vaccaro, considered the best safety in recent projects, Saints cornerback Keenan Lewis associate brought Jabari Greer. Of course, the return of Sean Payton also help others that defense works as it should.

BSN Sports blog predictions: The return of Sean Payton brings a new perspective on what they expect from the Saints in New Orleans this year. The attack will be very good, as always, the line between fighting for the playoffs and a fumble advocacy campaign will be remodeled. Winning the division I think a little complicated, but I'm sure the team will fight for one of the NFC Wild Card. The Saints should be between 9-7 and 10-6.
