In a game riddled with penalties and mistakes, the Dallas Cowboys managed to score a victory to register with sustained record of 3 wins and 2 losses and be able to go to their bye week with more ease. The receiver Miles Austin set a new franchise record with 255 yards in receptions, eclipsing the previous mark set by Hall of Famer Bob Hayes who gained 246 yards on 13 November 1966. In addition to receiving the 60-yard win in overtime, Austin had already put the Cowboys ahead on the scoreboard first in the fourth quarter with a touchdown reception for 59 yards. "It's an unbelievable feeling," Austin said at a news conference "It's amazing. I never expected something like this happened to me today. I was ready to play but I never imagined having a party like I had. " Meanwhile, the Chiefs had their defeat number 28 in the last 30 games and are 0-5 in this season.
