The team so far has not won a game the player decides to appoint reserve holder Josh Johnson, player who has participated in only two games in his career, adding 4 pass completions and 36 yards.

The coach Raheem Morris announced the change Monday afternoon, a day after the embarrassing 24-0 defeat against the New York Giants. Game in which Leftwich completed just 7 passes for 22 yards and an interception.

"I do not want to turn this into a problem of Byron." Said Morris coach who does his first year in Tampa Bay. "The whole team played poorly against the giants, I do not blame the organization that quarterback Byron however is who suffers the consequences, so things are."

Byron Leftwich On the other hand ensures that the game was just a lag in his career, confirms he will seek a new opportunity to improve and show he can support the team.

"Entering the season the goal is to win, Slovenian any team wants to do." Leftwich said. "So far we have not won a single match," I want to remain as head of the team? Of course it is, I think we're a team that can still win games but we'll see what happens. "
