Detroit Lions to the Top of the 2009 NFL Betting - BSN SportsThe 2009 NFL Betting season has just begun a week ago, and the Detroit Lions are already thinking this may be a historic season.

Unfortunately for his fans there are many ways to make history, and the 2009 edition of the Lions has the most numbers of the nfl betting odds to be the worst team in the category.

In NFL betting all aspire to be like the Miami Dolphins of the 1972 season, undefeated champions, or can suffer by having to emulate the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The team entered the league in 1976 and took 27 games to win.

The Lions are not winning a single match of the 2008 campaign, unparalleled historical event, and on Sunday from 45 to 27 were overwhelmed by New Orleans Saints.

Today, with the Minnesota Vikings, the situation will not improve.

The Detroit are at home to one of the favorites to be crowned champion. The eleventh directed by Brad Childress is in quarterback Brett Favre a future Hall of Fame.

But that's not all. Running back Adrian Peterson is the best in the league at his position, and it looks unlikely that the Lions defense can do something to stop them.

Detroit will be presented for the first time this season at home, Ford Field, with a team full of questions.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford is a rookie who is just in the process of learning to command the most difficult position of sport. The ground offensive game has no single player that stands out from the pile and the body of receivers is led by Calvin Johnson, a player who at one time was destined to be great.

On the defensive end who received 45 points last week speak for themselves.

If the logic holds today the Vikings draw with the Chicago and the Oakland Raiders with 19-game losing streak, the second worst record in history, and within eight days they face the Washington Redskins.

Winners. On Sunday, besides the sad story of the Tigers, there are parties that stand out.

New England Patriots arrived in New York to face the Jets. Tom Brady and company are looking to strengthen its position as the scepter favorites.

In the game Sunday night the Dallas Cowboys will be measured against the Giants in New York.

Tomorrow night, the Miami Dolphins are at home to the Indianapolis Colts.
