Following the Chiefs’ 180º turnaround last week, we were prepared to adorn feathers and apply the war paint for this division battle. That was until our sister publication, the BSN Sports previews, vigilantly alerted us to the fact that the Broncos 5th-ranked rush offense averages 5.3 YPR while KC’s soft rush defense allows 4.1 YPR. That’s hardly ever a good thing when laying points among two division combatants. Add to that the fact that the Chiefs are ‘leaking oil’ (0-3 In The Stats last three games) and instead the BSN Sports prediction is calling for a play on Denver. If it sounds like we’re ‘Tebowing’ a bit, it’s because the Broncos are 0-5 SU and ATS on the road off a division win the last five years and 0-6 SU and ATS away off an away game the past three betting seasons. Then again, Kansas City brings a despicable 1-7 SU and 0-8 ATS log into this contest in its last eight tries as a favorite in division contests. Go ahead, you figure this one out. We’ve washed ourselves of any pre-conceived notions. Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs stats: The total has gone OVER in 4 of Denver's last 5 games
