Jones stands firm. The owner of the team's star, Jerry Jones reiterated that there are no plans to sign Vick, recently released from his federal sentence of 23 months and who was killed by the Atlanta Falcons for his incarceration. Vick was jailed in 2007 for his involvement in dog fighting, which came in to land they owned. As a result, the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell suspended him indefinitely, but now that Vick is free, Goodell has not reported on the decision to rejoin the league. The Texas tycoon who made controversial hiring in 2008, also suspended Adam "Pacman" Jones, said the decision not to sign Vick although the penalty was lifted by the NFL remains strong as we said from the moment Atlanta cut it to.
