Tom Coughlin - Giants Betting Odds

At the end of the minicamp three days of the Giants, coach Tom Coughlin sent a strong message to his team to leave behind the bitter elimination of the 2008 season.

Requires solidarity.

The coach of the Super Bowl XLII champion gathered his team at the end of the practice and gave them 18 minutes of a conversation in any corner of the training camp from which the players came out motivated and focused on four main points.

Most of the veterans agreed that the issues highlighted were the strategist: Remember last year, work hard to be ready for training camp, be responsible with their peers inside and outside the pitch and do not forget that this is a group that still has the ingredients and is capable of winning another Super Bowl.

The third point of accountability within and outside the slatted was a clear reference to personal problems and discipline of the controversial open receiver Plaxico Burress, who left to belong to the organization this year.

"They need to think long and hard on the disappointment we experienced in January in terms of what we create for ourselves and how much priority we give to our 2009 season," said Coughlin.

After winning the Super Bowl in the 2007 season, the Giants made the best mark of 12-4 with the National Conference, however, everything began to lose with a defeat at home in the divisional playoff to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Giants finished their session to begin six weeks of vacation before starting the final training camp at the University of Albany.

Coghlin revealed that it included the inspiring example of the Los Angeles Lakers, NBA champions, who recovered from losing the final series of 2008 to return to Boston and win the title against the Orlando Magic.
