Not certain if Carolina or Cincy will finish with the league’s worst record but one thing is for sure – the Panthers are committed to Cam Newton. While Newton will display fl ashes of brilliance, the feeling here is it will take him a while to adjust to life in the NFL (i.e. - read defenses). Kevin Kolb also makes his long-awaited debut as a full-time starter in this league and history does not bode well for the ex-Eagle as the Cardinals are just 1-9 ATS as non-division favorites of seven or more points and a pathetic 2-10 ATS versus the NFC South. With that being said, our passion for big dogs – along with the Panthers’ profi table 5-1 SU and ATS series mark – still doesn’t give us enough confi dence to grab the points with a rookie head coach and quarterback. There’s simply no reason to get involved here. Like Kolb and Newton, we’re going to pass. The Arizona Cardinals are the favorites as -3 points favorites and the total is set at 38 on this game on Sunday against the Panthers. Carolina most recently: Arizona most recently:
