Asked for changes or dismissal. Brian Griese was one of five Quarterbacks seeking tenure in Tampa Bay heading to 2009. After playing five games in 2008-its second stage in the team, "Griese was not comfortable in the institution in recess this season in which he had to compete with Josh Freeman, the first selection of Tampa Bay in the past Draft; the veteran Byron Leftwich, Luke McCown, who was working for a wage dispute, and Josh Johnson, selected in the second round of recruitment 2008.
