The long pass (32-yards) and two touchdowns Favre crowned as one of the most prolific quarterbacks this week, and his 40 years still on the grate with risky moves that even younger players do not dare to run. The last series of the third quarter saw Favre the offensive line get their own 3-yard with a long pass, the quarterback then ran to catch up with this receiver and was able to protect his move to provide a blocking move against a strong defensive of the San Francisco 49'ers, Favre received a serious blow, however stood up and continued playing. The record of three wins by no losses in Minnesota were not achieved since 2003. The defense of the San Francisco 49'ers Peterson blocked several times, causing the game driving in a large percentage of air. Brett Favre completed 24 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns, and Adrian Peterson ran 19 times for 85 yards and adding only zero entries. On the other hand the 49'ers lost their star running back, Frank Gore, in the first quarter of the game. The Vikings defense led to a severe injury that could linger even Gore for two weeks. The team failed to do much for the said land without running back Shaun Hill therefore be devoted to completing 15 passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns, despite losing the match 27-24.
