Brett Favre No More - BSN SportsThe novel has ended. Brett Favre informed that the Minnesota Vikings will not return for the 2009 NFL season.

With that, the legendary quarterback put an end to speculation of a return to the slatted seconds after announcing his retirement at the end of last season.

A legend race.

A lesion in the right shoulder prevented the field marshal's return for season 19 in the league.

Favre played his first season in 1991 with the Atlanta Falcons, but was changed to the Green Bay Packers where he broke all records for a quarterback significant in the history of the NFL in his 16 campaigns with the team of "Head Cheese".

The 1997 season was the most successful career in the memories of the stellar # 4, when not only won the last of his three consecutive trophy as MVP of the NFL, but won his only Vince Lombardi Trophy by winning the Super Bowl XXXI.

His last season as a professional he played as a member of the New York Jets in 2008, which, despite its winning record, could not lead the team to the postseason.

Favre now must wait five years to be eligible to enter the Hall of Fame and leave your name engraved for ever among the legends of football.
