Sports Betting Overview Yes, that line is correct. In their pending week 13 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, the New England Patriots are 21 point favorites. In all reality, 21 points may not be enough. Colts’ fans have to stop focusing in on the loss of Peyton Manning as the reason why Indianapolis is 0-11. The Indianapolis defense gives up more points than any other defense in the NFL. The Colts’ offense is nothing to write home about, but when your defense is giving up the most points in the league it can make the offense’s job that much harder. Admittedly, part of the problem in Indianapolis is at quarterback. First, the Colts make the ill-advised move of signing veteran Kerry Collins for $2.5 million a year when Collins’ career was undoubtedly over. Secondly, the Colts are now paying for years of neglect with backup Curtis Painter.
The price per head sports fans in New England were a little unsure of what to expect from the Patriots in its week 12 meeting with the Eagles.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs will face each other on Sunday Night Football at Arrowhead Stadium.
It’s one thing to get ‘Tebowed’, but it’s another thing to get ‘Palkoed’ and there is no way the Steelers will let that happen tonight.
With the Ravens holding the upper hand in the division, Pitt can’t afford any slip-ups and HC Mike Tomlin’s 5-2 ATS mark as a favorite with rest insures the Steel Curtain comes away with the victory.
Unfortunately for network execs, KC is making its second straight primetime appearance and we doubt this one will be any better than the fi rst. They put up a whopping three points against New England’s marshmallow stop-unit so the question becomes will they be able to cross midfield against the Steelers stout ‘D.’

The New England Patriots face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.
Who’s afraid of the big, bad Pats? Not Philadelphia, at least not from an ATS standpoint anyway!
These two non-conference foes have met eight times since 1981 and it’s the Eagles that own a 5-3 SU, 7-1 ATS log.
Since those three losses have all come since 2003, we realize that the Belichick/Brady combo has never lost to the Birds.
However, one of those losses was 24-21 in the Super Bowl and the other was a controversial 31-28 loss at New England in 2007 as 25-point – yes, 25-point – dogs when the Pats were marching toward perfection.

Carolina Panthers will meet the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Like in every fairy tale we were ever told, nightmares eventually come to an end.
In the Colts’ case, this season it isn’t a fabrication… it’s an improbable nightmare come true.
The loss of all-world QB Peyton Manning has hit this team harder than any punch ever thrown, leaving a black eye on a once proud program.
The question is will the Bye Week work wonders or is it a team beyond repair? According to our powerful database, the answer is the former as it notes that winless teams with a week of rest from Game Five out are 17-12 SU and 23-5-1 ATS since 1980, including 13-1 ATS when playing off a spread loss of 6 or more points.
