Super Bowl OddsWill The Coin Toss Be Heads Or Tails

Super Bowl Odds: Heads -105, Tails -105

The coin toss is a surprisingly popular pick for Super Bowl prop betting but at the end of the day, it is just a coin flip. It is just a 50-50 proposition so really, you’re guess is about as good as it gets. There is no real way to handicap this except to guess.

As the boys from the NFL Network say – and so do a lot of players in the NFL: “Tails never fails”. If you’re going to pick, go with tails.

Which Quarter Will Have The Most Points Scored

Super Bowl Prop Betting Odds: 2nd Quarter +150, 4th quarter +200, 1st quarter +280, 3rd quarter +300

NFL Betting – Pro Bowl Week

NFL Pro Bowl OddsThe Super Bowl Odds will be the last main event of the NFL season and while we have a week off before we get to Super Bowl week, we at least have one more football game to enjoy before it.

The Pro Bowl has been shifted to the week prior to the Super Bowl instead of the week after it, which presents a number of differences. For starters, the Pro Bowl won’t take place in Hawaii any longer. It will travel with the Super Bowl, which means this year it is in Miami.

Also, since the game is prior to the Super Bowl, none of the players from the teams that are playing in the big game will take part in this game.

Why The AFC Can Win

The AFC will have to rely on their trio of small, quick running backs to get the job done. Sure, the Pro Bowl isn’t always a rusher’s paradise but those making their NFL picks know that Chris Johnson, Maurice Jones-Drew and Ray Rice can make a big impact. Also, those guys are relative newcomers, so they might try more than some of the veterans.

NFL Betting – Vikings Will Run Past Saints

NFC Championship Game OddsThe Super Bowl odds are on the board and while the Indianapolis Colts are favored, the NFC teams might have something to say about that. Click here for more information regarding the odds.

The Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints were the two best teams in the NFC this season and both have made a case to be the best in the NFL. The Saints started 13-0 this year while the Vikings started 10-1.

Here is a preview of their matchup this Sunday in the NFC Championship Game:

Vikings Strengths:

While Brett Favre has carried the load this season and made Sidney Rice into a Pro Bowl-caliber wide receiver, the Vikings also have a running back named Adrian Peterson, who notched 18 rushing touchdowns this year.

On defense, the Vikings have a stout defensive line and are as good as it gets up front. Between Jared Allen, Kevin Williams and Pat Williams, the Vikings are tough to move in the ground game.

NFL Betting – Colts put end to Jets’ postseason run

Jets vs Colts oddsNFL betting players have watched the New York Jets complete a pair of road upsets so far in the playoffs, but this week, they’ll travel to Indianapolis to face the No.1-seeded Colts, who will have revenge on their mind after the Jets handed them their first win of the season under controversial circumstances.

Jets vs Colts odds – Sunday, January 24, 3:00 PM ET

The Jets’ defense had another big game, and they took advantage of a few San Diego mistakes in a 17-14 win in sunny California on Sunday as 8.5-point sportsbook underdogs when the line finally stopped moving. Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding, who is going to the Pro Bowl, missed three field goals along the way, while the Chargers were undisciplined with 10 penalties. This left the door wide open for the Jets, and they walked through. Actually, it was more like ran through as New York rushed for 169 yards. Mark Sanchez, who was returning to southern California, where he grew up and went to school, went 12-of-23 for 100 yards, a touchdown and a pick.

The Colts, coming off their bye week, looked fresh in a 20-3 win over Baltimore, and particularly on defense, Indy flew all over the field to force four turnovers. Peyton Manning was 30-of-44 for 246 yards, two touchdowns and a pick for the Colts, who had just 42 yards on the ground. However, they didn’t need their offense to be spectacular as the Colts’ defense dominated Joe Flacco, Ray Rice and the rest of the Ravens.
