NFL Week 15 Odds: Dallas Cowboys vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Dallas Cowboys vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers PicksThe Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will meet on Saturday at Raymond James Stadium. Join Now to Bet on this Game!

Was Yogi Berra at last week’s Dallas game? He was present at least in spirit as the end of the Giants’ game proved to be “déjà vu all over again.”

Yes, for the second week in a row, Dallas PK Dan Bailey was denied a successful field goal thanks to a last-second time out call and he went on to miss his final attempt.

So, after blowing yet another golden opportunity to seize command of the NFC East last week, control of the division rests in the hands of the previously lifeless Giants.

The good news for the fading Pokes is they get to play dead-on-the slab Tampa Bay, a team that hasn’t won a game since mid-October, and Dallas has gone 10-1 SU and ATS of late off a SU favorite loss where they allowed 35 or more points.

But that’s ALL the good news. The bad news is the Cowboys’ incredible 4-15 SU and 1-17-1 ATS non-division mark as favorites from Game 13 out (in other words, they have become choke artists with a masters degree from HIV: Heimlich Institute of Vomit).

Meanwhile, the bumbling Bucs actually own some strong numbers in today’s showdown. Their 10-1 SU and 11-0 ATS success at home off a SU and ATS loss versus a foe off back-to-back SU losses is enough to pique our interest but they sweeten the deal with a 9-0 ATS mark (2-0 this season) in games after allowing 35 or more points to a foe that was favored in each of its last two outings.

We’ll finish by toasting with a glass of anti-Cowboy Kool-Aid as our database reminds us that NFL home dogs off a SU road favorite loss in which they allowed over 28 points are a thirst-quenching 20-6-1 ATS.

We know the Bucs are bad – they allowed 41 unanswered points in last week’s loss to the Jags – but as awful as they might be, we want no part of the gag artists from Big D.

Sportsbooks Odds: Cowboys listed as 6-point favorites against the Buccaneers, and the game's total is sitting at 46.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Stats:

Dallas is 10-3 SU in its last 13 games when playing Tampa Bay
The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Dallas's last 8 games when playing Tampa Bay
The total has gone OVER in 17 of Dallas's last 25 games
Dallas is 4-2 SU in its last 6 games
The total has gone OVER in 4 of Tampa Bay's last 5 games
The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Tampa Bay's last 8 games when playing Dallas
Tampa Bay is 8-17 SU in its last 25 games at home
Tampa Bay is 3-10 SU in its last 13 games when playing Dallas

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Atlanta Falcons SpreadThe Jacksonville Jaguars and the Atlanta Falcons will fight on Thursday at Georgia Dome. Join Now to Bet on this Game!

Amazing what a little difference can make to a team. Guaranteed a fourth straight non-winning season, Jags’ ownership finally gave the boot to 9thyear head coach Jack Del Rio after a 38-14 home drubbing at the hands of San Diego.

So what happened next? Interim coach Mel Tucker shook things up by fi ring WR coach Johnny Cox and re-assigning coaching duties among the staff.

As a result, the team responded with its most complete game of 2011, scoring a season-high 41 points – Jags had not reached the 21-point mark on offense in their previous 12 games – as they crushed Tampa Bay by a whopping 27 points (the 325 yards gained in the win was also Jacksonville’s highest of the year).

NFL Week 15 Preview: Baltimore Ravens (-1 ½) vs. San Diego Chargers

Baltimore Ravens vs. San Diego Chargers LinesNFL Betting Lines Overview
If the San Diego Chargers want to make the playoffs, then it will need to win all three of its remaining games. The only real chance the Chargers have at a playoff spot is to win the AFC West or hope the bottom falls out on wild contenders on teams such as the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Chargers had a relatively easy time with the Buffalo Bills in week 14, but now a real challenge arrives in the form of the AFC North-leading Baltimore Ravens. According to the price per head sports experts, the Ravens continue to hold on to first place in the AFC North by virtue of its two wins over the second place Pittsburgh Steelers. The Ravens possess one of the best defenses in all of football, and that is going to be one of the deciding factors in this game.

The San Diego Chargers are 6-7 while the AFC West-leading Denver Broncos are 8-5. With the magic of Tim Tebow driving the Broncos, it is difficult to tell how Denver will finish the season. It is possible that 9-7 could be the record that wins the AFC West.

Sunday Night Football Odds Week 14: Giants vs. Cowboys

2011 New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys PicksThe New York Giants visit the Cowboys Stadium to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football Betting. Join Now to Bet on this Game!

Though many will expect the Giants to suffer a letdown after nearly derailing the Packers’ perfect season last week, we think the G-men will carry confidence from that effort into this contest.

The Cowboys take the field off a bitter OT loss to Arizona (winning FG in regulation was nullifi ed when Dallas called for a timeout right before the kick) and won’t be riding high from the looks of the ATS archives.

Not only are the Pokes a lifeless 0-11 ATS in December off a SU favorite loss versus an opponent playing with revenge, they’re also an unlucky 2-6 SU and 1-6-1 ATS of late in Game Thirteen of the NFL betting season.
