 With the initial set of week one games played and out of the way, the NFL betting lines focus will shift in the NFC to the west coast, but not without some attention on the nation’s capital. On the anniversary of 9/11 there will be plenty of emotion around the day’s events, and that passion will likely translate on to the football field.

The Giants of New York will take to the football field in the nation’s capital for their regular season opener, in one of the key early NFC East matchups that will begin to shape one of the most complete divisions in the league. The Redskins have taken steps in the right NFL pick direction in head coach Mike Shanahan’s second year, but with question marks about whether Rex Grossman is capable of handling the starter’s role and a lack of playmakers on both sides of the ball, Washington could struggle early.

 The fans meeting is at M&T Bank Stadium this Sunday September 11th for the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.
