San Francisco 49ers vs. Baltimore Ravens Betting on Thanksgiving

San Francisco 49ers vs. Baltimore Ravens OddsAfter a full day of gorging ourselves at the table, and on the NFL card, it’s on to the first ever ‘Harbaugh Bowl’ tonight as we slice up some pumpkin pie and pour a glass of milk to wash down a week’s worth of calories consumed earlier in the day.

The Niners make their fi rst appearance on Turkey Day in over 30 years – and their fi fth trip to an Eastern Time zone city this season – knowing that underdogs with the better record in games played on this holiday are a pathetic 1-10 ATS since 1980.

A 5-21 SU mark on the non-division road puts them up against it tonight, especially at AFC North division foes where they stand 1-4 SU and 1-3-1 ATS.

The whipped cream on the pie is John Harbaugh’s 16-0 SU and 13-3 ATS career record as a non-division home favorite, including 7-0 ATS when laying 7 or less points.

Thanksgiving Betting: Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions

Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions Thanksgiving BetsThe Packers take their magical act on the road Thanksgiving Day when they tackle the upstart Lions in the Motor City.

The good news for Cheesehead fans is the fact that Turkey Day favorites off back-to-back wins are a mindboggling 17-1 SU and 16-2 ATS since 1988.

Meanwhile, the Lions have been basted like turkeys on Thanksgiving Day, going 0-7 SU and ATS the last seven years.

That’s enough to cause major indigestion for dog lovers like us, for sure.

However, being the contrarians we are, we’re quick to point out that Green Bay has been outgained in four of its last fi ve games while allowing season high – or 2nd high – yards in fi ve of its last seven contests.

NFL Week 12 Preview: Minnesota Vikings vs. Atlanta Falcons

2011 Minnesota Vikings vs. Atlanta Falcons Week 12 PreviewNFL Betting Lines Overview
When the Minnesota Vikings took the field in week one of the 2011-2012 season, people did not know what to expect. The Vikings lost veteran quarterback Brett Favre to retirement and were still fixing up their broken balloon dome during the off-season. To offset the loss of Favre, the Vikings brought in embattled veteran quarterback Donovan McNabb. But to avoid hedging its bets, the Vikings also drafted highly-touted college quarterback Christian Ponder in the 2011 NFL draft. Ponder immediately showed no respect for McNabb by announcing that he intended to compete for the starting job. By week five, Ponder had won the starting job and learned a whole new respect for Donovan McNabb.

The price per head sportsbook experts expected a lot from the Atlanta Falcons in the 2011-2012 season. Atlanta was supposed to be the heir apparent to the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South standings, and Atlanta was supposed to be a top-rated NFC playoff team.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots Odds on Monday Night

Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots LinesThe Kansas City Chiefs visit the New England Patriots on Monday, November 21st at Gillette Stadium in a ESPN betting game.

Instead of talking about Matt Cassel returning to New England to play the Pats, we have to make mention that Tyler Palko is making his fi rst career start – and that can’t be a good thing.

With Cassel hurt and KC 2-10 ATS off a division hoster (and 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine Monday night non-division matchups), there’s not a lot to like about the Chiefs this week.

And if we’re prepared to lay double-digits in primetime, that’s saying something!

Well, this is saying something: the Patriots are 13-0 ATS versus a foe off back-to-back SU losses with the last coming against the division and 15-0 SU and 13-2 ATS at home versus a foe off a SU favorite loss.
