Last night the Pittsburgh Steelers won a major victory that allowed them to tie the Bengals in the AFC North, who next week face 10 in an attractive match.
In a game that was steady until the fourth quarter, safety Tyrone Carter, who replaced Ryan Clark holder, made the big play that catapulted the win to the Steelers (6-2), returning the first of two interceptions that had for Touchdown 48 yards.
Hines Ward caught two passes for touchdowns short of Ben Roethlisberger, who managed to delight the perimeter of the Broncos (6-2).
Rashard Mendenhall rode on the Broncos defense by recording 155 yards on 22 carries.
Until the end of the third period Denver's defense held the Pittsburgh running game, and the 14/10 game quarterback Kyle Orton threw a pass that was intercepted by Troy Polamalu, he returned to the 25-yard line, followed by a pass Big Ben's touchdown to rookie Mike Wallace that the Broncos virtually collapsed and declared the game.
