Best Players of the Year 2010QB
Joe Flacco: Bridging the best regular season of his young career, Flacco needed a win to compete for the division title. Flacco is better than ever when he is home. The Bengals are demoralized and are in themselves bad numbers in defense and Flacco could close strong heading into the playoffs.

Pierre Thomas: With the Saints engaged in the fight for the division title and with it the rest in the wild-card round, Thomas will face a Buccaneers that also fight for their lives but have a weakness in his defensive career.

Brian Westbrook: The most unexpected election campaign, Westbrook will participate in a game that could not mean less. But the show must go on and the Cardinals have the third-worst run defense in the NFL. The problems of the 49ers quarterbacks will give many carries a runner who got 136 yards and a touchdown in their last meeting between the teams.

Mario Manningham: The Giants have a game that can not lose and come to it without Steve Smith and Hakeem Nicks. The rival is weak and Manningham will be the favorite target of Eli Manning which means many points.

Mike Thomas: Despite the loss of David Garrard, Jacksonville receiver could make good team with Trent Edwards especially playing against Houston, which was consistently the worst pass defense in the NFL. Mike Thomas has six receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown against a defense similarly bad.

Marcedes Lewis: A good tight end is the best friend of a quarterback who is making his second appearance for a team. Lewis has had a great year which included 674 yards and nine scores, and the very fragile game against the Houston defense makes it a very tempting option.

Atlanta Falcons: The election, once again, not so much about the power of the defense itself, as in the complete ineffectiveness Carolina offense. Jimmy Clausen's team has secured the first pick in the upcoming Draft and not coincidentally, their offense has been completely unable to produce points or yards. Add to that the defense of Atlanta has had good appearances this election is almost automatic.

Nate Kaeding: Denver is a place that suits the punters, perhaps by the height. Consequently, the Broncos have given large amounts of points to kickers. Kaeding has not scored less than 8 points in his last three games and that amount may increase on Sunday.
