Time will tell if the Kansas City Chiefs made a smart move to give a second-round pick in 2013 and a conditional in 2014 to acquire Alex Smith. No need to wait to declare the San Francisco 49ers the big winners of this change.
When Jim Harbaugh arrived in San Francisco, it was assumed that Smith would be cut. Smit looked like a player who would have a modest market in free agency and probably would become a substitute somewhere. Two years and many victories later, the 49ers took a high second-round pick and more by switching to Smith.
The 49ers already have a more talented quarterback than Smith. It is possible that your computer has the most talented roster in total. And now they have a ridiculous amount of draft picks to use in April or before April in a change.
Let's review: The 49ers now have two picks in the top 34 and at least five picks in the first three rounds. In total, the team has 12 teams and more teams will come via compensatory options.

There are really great options in the quarterback position in the NFL Draft 2013. Free agency has even fewer options. That leaves teams desperate for a quarterback as the Kansas City Chiefs more than willing to tie up their quarterback for 2013 as soon as possible.
The Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have agreed to a change to send Alex Smith to Kansas City. The deal can not become official until the start of the league year on March 12, but the Chiefs have left "clear commitment" with Smith, according to Glazer.
The site www.bsnsportsblog.com reported that compensation is a second-round pick in 2013 and possibly a 2014 selection. The way in which the news raised Glazer suggests that there will be a new contract for Smith, who is owed $ 7.5 million in the final year of his contract. The Chiefs would not deliver much in the draft for a quarterback in a single year.
The Chiefs made a similar move after hiring Scott Pioli in 2009, when they traded a second-round pick to the New England Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel by linebacker Mike Vrabel and.

The arrival of Alex Smith to Kansas City for quarterback Matt Cassel has no team. The Arizona Cardinals are among the teams interested in Cassel.
The Cardinals coach Bruce Arians hired to fix the offense and a quarterback situation that has turned negative. The solution probably includes bringing someone to replace the triumvirate of Kevin Kolb, John Skelton, Ryan Lindley.
This is how things start to fall: Smith to Kansas City, Cassel and elsewhere thereafter. Last year, the Colts select Andrew Luck planning, which Peyton Manning went to Denver and Tim Tebow went to New York.
The Cardinals were interested in Smith, but now have to move to their second choice. Arians want to see more long passes, and while Cassel is not famous for having a cannon arm, it would certainly be an improvement.

The NFL betting experts had to admit that a lot of interesting things happened because of Super Bowl XLVII. Baltimore Ravens’ linebacker Ray Lewis retires as a two-time Super Bowl champion and quarterback Joe Flacco is about to get the respect he has been looking for in the form of a big contract. Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh won the first ever NFL playoff game where two brothers faced off as head coaches, and Jacoby Jones is getting a lot of press the day after the big game. But what about the San Francisco 49ers?
The betting sites are having a hard time denying the fact that second-year quarterback Colin Kaepernick cracked under the pressure in the first half and almost completely handed the Super Bowl to the Baltimore Ravens. That is not to say that the Ravens did not earn the victory, because Baltimore is a deserving Super Bowl champion. But things are a lot easier when the opposing quarterback is throwing key interceptions and making really bad decisions at critical moments in the game. The Ravens didn’t need the help in the first half, but the team was more than happy to take it.
