Texas-San Antonio did not face a tournament team all season long and is undoubtedly the youngest squad in the event with seven freshman and only one senior, but Alabama State just doesn’t appear to be ‘Wile E., enough to get the SU win against these Roadrunners. The Hornets are the only team in the tournament without a winning record (17-17) and failed in their lone meeting with a fellow tourney squad (a 13-point home loss to Belmont). However, we’re not saying that purchase of a few ‘ACME’ products can’t slow down the Roadrunners and bring home the ATS Win. After all Hornets have stung 11 of their last 12 foes this betting season and are making fourth NCAA basketball betting appearance in the last 10 years. Alabama State Hornets won 65-48 against Grambling State on the last game playing before the tournament. Odds makers at betED sportsbook currently have the Roadrunners listed as 3½-point favorites against Alabama State Hornets and the total set at 129.
