2012 College Basketball Betting: Key Big Ten OddsThe No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes have established that the road to a Big Ten title will have to go through the Value City Arena, and they could face their toughest conference challenge on a sports betting weekend that will go a long way to determining the overall outlook in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes host the No. 12 Michigan State Spartans for the first of two meetings between the schools this season, and while the top two teams in the conference battle it out, the rest of the conference will fight not to fall too far behind.

2012 NCAAB Power RankingsWith the New York Giants winning Super Bowl 46 last night, it is now time for fans and handicappers alike to turn their attention to the college basketball betting lines. With just over a month to go until the greatest tournament in betting history, the power rankings are keeping diehards such as us sane. In the last three weeks, things have stayed relatively quiet at the top of the rankings. However, as fans betting March Madness know, just because you are ranked highly does not mean you can’t be knocked off the pedestal. Today we’ll look at the week 14 power rankings, and why they can help us with our wagers. Join Now to Bet on this Game!

Over the past month, the top of the power rankings has stayed relatively the same, as the Kentucky Wildcats and Syracuse Orange occupy the top two seeds. Both Kentucky, the preseason favorite to be ranked number one going into the tournament, and Syracuse, the top seed for almost two months, share identical 23 and one records. From the third ranked Ohio State Buckeyes downwards, things are open to debate, as plenty of teams deserve higher and lower rankings.

First, the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes will face their toughest Big Ten challenge so far this year when they travel to face the No. 20 Wisconsin Badgers with the top spot in the conference on the line. Then, it’s a battle of the top two teams in the Big 12 as the No. 8 Kansas Jayhawks look to forget that surprising loss to Iowa State when they travel to face the No. 4 Missouri Tigers.

College Basketball OddsThe college basketball betting is just starting to get underway as the teams continue to jockey for position in the upcoming March Madness NCAA tournament. The top spots in the rankings have been changing so frequently that none of the top 25 teams can take anything for granted. Heading into this coming weekend, the price per head sports experts do not see the very top rated teams having a lot of trouble with their games. But the action among the rest of the top 25 should be pretty intense as some teams are trying to avoid being considered “bubble teams” for the upcoming NCAA championship.

Saturday – (1) Kentucky @ LSU
The only loss that LSU has this season which was not a close game was its early season loss to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. But LSU’s schedule is not all that impressive and it has sustained some disappointing losses to some teams that it should have beaten.
