We weren’t married to the Mormons in their phony win and cover over Central Florida (outgained by 139 yards) last Friday and we’re not about to tie the knot this week by laying over a touchdown with this popgun offense. We knew that BYU would be in a ‘Heaps’ of trouble against UCF’s top-ranked pass defense and we expect more of the same tonight in Provo. Don’t be fooled by the Aggies’ overtime home loss to Colorado State – they outgained the Rams by 145 total yards and are now a perfect 3-0 ‘In The Stats’ (ITS) this college football betting season. Gary Andersen’s men are also 3-0 ATS in this series since 2008 and a moneymaking 10-2 ATS under their 3rd-year head coach as dogs of 5 or more points. Throw BYU’s way-too-cozy 1-10 ATS mark as home favorites off back-to-back home games into the mix and you can see why we feel there just may be too many women and too little (practice) time for this third straight homer. And statistically speaking, there’s no need to ‘Aggie-nize’ over this one. We wholeheartedly agree… a solid take. The current betting line is Cougars as 12½-point favorites versus the Aggies, and the game's total is sitting at 51½. A few trends to consider:
