Not keen on stepping in front of head Hog Bobby Petrino’s dazzling 32-11- 1 ATS career mark at home – including 11-1 ATS versus a foe off a SU and ATS win – after having tried and failed with the Gamecocks last week. And honestly, the 44-28 final could have been much worse: the Razorbacks saw WR Cobi Hamilton and RB Ronnie Wingo Jr. drop touchdown passes, kicker Zach Hocker miss field goal tries from 45 and 29 yards, and quarterback Tyler Wilson throw an interception, ending his streak without a pick at 186. The Hogs also couldn’t score on three plays from a yard out on one series, turning the ball over on downs, and were penalized nine times for 60 yards. We pity the Vols heading into that meat-grinder, especially with Tennessee fielding an offense that scored just 28 TOTAL POINTS in a four-game losing streak against SEC foes before beating Middle Tennessee State last week. Still, UT was held scoreless in the second half of that game and averaged less than 3 yards per carry on the ground – all against a supposedly outclassed Sun Belt foe. Big Orange arrives in Fayetteville with a 1-4 ATS mark as double-digit conference dogs and a 1-3 ATS record when leaving Knoxville after back-to- back homers. Arkansas has cashed four straight at this venue and with one of college football’s blood-thirstiest coaches in Petrino calling the shots, look for the Hogs to improve to 6-1 ATS as double-digit SEC chalk. Roast! Vegas Sportsbooks currently have Arkansas listed as 13-point favorites against the Volunteers, while the game's total is sitting at 56.
