Pittsburgh Panthers vs. Louisville Cardinals Vegas Odds

Week 11 Pittsburgh Panthers vs. Louisville Cardinals oddsThe Papa John's Cardinal Stadium will host the game between the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Louisville Cardinals on Saturday.

As expected (a.k.a. hoped for), the Cardinals went to Morgantown and answered the call as our Upset Special, handing the Mountaineers a 38- 35 setback as 13-point dogs.

They haven’t delivered nearly as much at Papa John’s Stadium as the home faithful would like (3-2 SU with losses to FIU and Marshall) and the feeling here is the linesmaker overreacted to last week’s win.

While it was a great win for Louie – as well as for us – to be fair, the Cards were outgained by 182 yards in the contest.

As it is, they haven’t been given the favorite label in this series since 2007 (0-4 ATS). And to boot, our database also reminds us that the Cardinals are a not-so fan friendly 0-3 SU and ATS in LHG’s (Last Home Games) and 0-6 SU and 0-5-1 ATS in games off a SU dog win.

With all that being said, as well as Pitt needing wins in two of its final three games to reach bowl eligibility, this looks to have the feel of a WTF (Wrong Team Favored) special.

Pitt fans and poker dealers will be happy to here this: In a role change, Redbird going down.

Vegas Sportsbooks currently have the Cardinals listed as 3-point favorites versus the Panthers, and the game's total is sitting at 44½.
