Pittsburgh Panthers vs. Iowa Hawkeyes Early Betting Odds

College Football betting Week 3 Pittsburgh Panthers vs. Iowa Hawkeyes OddsCollege Football Betting: the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Iowa Hawkeyes will both be gunning for a victory on Saturday when they meet at Kinnick Stadium.

Panthers head coach Todd Graham has 45 career wins with NONE coming against a BCS conference team. In fact, Graham crumbles like a cracker in these matchups, posting a
0-7 SU and 1-6 ATS mark while being outscored 335-102. Ouch!

The problem in backing Iowa today, however, is that the Hawkeyes enter this contest as a bonafi de overtime loser fade as these teams are 45-66-3 ATS at home off an extra session loss since the inception of overtime games.

Pittsburgh was a 35-29 winner in their most recent outing at home against Maine. They failed to cover the 29.5–point betting spread as favorites.

With conflicting numbers and IU’s penchant for playing close games (18 games decided by five or less points since 2008, including eight by a FG), the Vegas boys look to be spot on this afternoon in Iowa City.

This should be a good one but we’ll do no more than tune our sets to ESPN2 for this noon tilt.

The Hawkeyes are listed as
3-point favorites against the Panthers, while the game's total is sitting at 51.
