Nevada, Fresno State and Hawaii now belong to the Mountain West Conference. They are part of the changes happening in that conference and they are originated from the Western Athletic Conference. TCU on the other hand has left Mountain West for the Big 12.
Now that TCU is gone the Boise State Broncos will be the top team of the Mountain West conference. They hope to make their best this year in the MWC as next year they will be moving to the Big East. The odds have the Broncos at -300 to win the conference. Although they are not as dominant in comparison to last year it is possible that they will make far enough to fight for a conference title.

The Nevada Wolf Pack are tailing the Broncos and the odds have them at +550 giving them the title of “second favorites to with the Mountain West Conference”.
Handicappers recall the impressive 6-3 run down the stretch from last season despite the fact that they only reflected a 7-6 record for last season.
Right after the Broncos, the Fresno State Bulldogs are the third choice for bettors to pick this season as winners of the conference. At +800 odds to win the WAC they are hoping that new Head Coach Tim DeRuyter takes them to a higher level than the one they got stuck in last season. With a disappointing record of 4-9 from last season they hope to turn things around this year.
Then we have the Wyoming Cowboys coming in with +1500 odds to win the conference and the handicappers are considering them as a longshot. Last season they finished third in the MWC and recorded numbers of 5-2 in conference action and 8-5 in the overall season. QB Brett who actually had a pretty good season is the hope of the team as they hope he can improve even more this time around.
The odds for the rest of the MWC teams show as follow:
Air Force and San Diego State at +2000
