College Football Betting – Wildcats Hunting For Upset at Oregon

Arizona vs. Oregon Betting – Friday, 7:00 PM ETCollege football betting players have watched Oregon roll over the competition this season, especially at home where their average margin of victory is over 49 points. This is why the Ducks are a massive favorite as they prepare to host Arizona on Friday night, and the Wildcats could relish the role of spoiler in this one.

Arizona Oregon Betting – Friday, 7:00 PM ET

The No.21 Wildcats (7-3, 4-3) dropped their second game in a row with a 24-21 loss at home to USC, as a couple of turnovers and a slow start sealed their fate. Nick Foles was 32-of-48 for 353 yards and three touchdowns, but they left their defense on the field for over 37 minutes, which led to USC running for 205 yards on the Wildcats. Arizona was very efficient, going 11-of-16 on third down, but they were only on the field for 22 minutes. The Arizona defense won’t get that much time on the field this week as Oregon likes to keep up the pace, which poses a whole different set of football betting problems for the Wildcats.

The No.1 Ducks (10-0, 7-0) had a week off after a tough 15-13 win at California, showing that they’re much more than a high-powered offense that is ranked second in the country in yards, and first in points. The Ducks are also 15th in total defense and 11th in points allowed, and that has led to a number of beatdowns this season. Outside of Stanford, no one has scored more than 16 points at Autzen Stadium, where they have won 20 straight games. The lowest amount of points that the Ducks have scored at Autzen this year? Stanford held them to 52 points…that’s right, 52.

Your pay per head sportsbook has the Ducks as 19.5-point favorites at home, where they are 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five meetings with the Wildcats, who are 1-3 ATS on the road. The Ducks are 3-0-1 ATS at home, and that is a great record with the massive college football betting spreads that Oregon has been getting at home. The Wildcats are going to have their hands full at Autzen, and they may take a couple of pages out of the Cal book, as the Golden Bears reportedly faked injuries to stop play, which slowed down the Oregon offense. Of course, they still lost, but they didn’t get pummeled. However, officials will be looking for it now, and if they do it too much, they’ll take penalties, which will put Oregon in better positions, and that’s the last thing Arizona needs. We’d love to think it’ll be close, but the Arizona defense will wear down in the second half, leading to a big betting win for the Ducks.
