Oklahoma vs. Cincinnati Betting Odds – Saturday, September 25th, 3:30 PM ETCollege football betting players should beware of an upset this weekend in Cincinnati, when the Bearcats take on Oklahoma in a big non-conference matchup. The Bearcats have been disappointing with a new coach, but the Sooners haven’t been all that great, and online betting odds may be giving Oklahoma too much credit on the road.

Oklahoma Cincinnati Betting – Saturday, September 25th, 3:30 PM ET

The No.8 Sooners (3-0) may have taken their foot off the gas in a 27-24 win at home over Air Force, as they were up 27-10 heading into the fourth quarter and a better team would have made them pay for it. Landry Jones was 26-of-42 for 254 yards and a touchdown, while DeMarco Murray added 110 yards and a pair of scores on the ground for the Sooners, who had 367 yards of offense. However, the Sooners had no answer for Air Force’s running game, which hung 351 yards on Oklahoma, and 458 yards in total.  The Oklahoma defense has shown they can be had on the ground and through the air, so they’re going to have to work on some things in practice this week.

The Bearcats (1-2) got off to a bad start and couldn’t recover in a 30-19 loss at North Carolina State, as their last two touchdowns came in the last seven minutes of the game. Zach Collaros went 19-of-31 for 310 yards and three touchdowns for the Bearcats, who have taken a step back since Brian Kelly left for Notre Dame, and even though Butch Jones is a Kelly student (he also replaced Kelly at Central Michigan), their temperaments are different, which means there will probably be a transition period for the players. But the Bearcats are a better team than they’ve proven this year, and pride is at stake now, which can affect their lines at betting services.

Players can get a sports betting bonus if they take Cincinnati as a 13.5-point underdog at home, where they are 9-1 in their last 10. These two have met just once, when the Sooners rolled to a 52-26 win over the Bearcats in Norman back in 2008, and Oklahoma should win this game, but it’ll be close. The Sooners have won only one of their three games comfortably, while the Bearcats have a lot of pride and will want to put in a good effort in front of their home fans. They just don’t have the talent to take a win from the Sooners, but they have more than enough to keep this from becoming a blowout. Ultimately, their defense isn’t good enough to shut down Oklahoma’s offense, while the Sooners’ defense is good enough to get one or two key stops/turnovers when they need it.

Sports online betting pick: Cincinnati +13.5
