College Football Week 11: Ohio Bobcats vs. Central Michigan Chippewas Preview

College Football Week 11 Ohio Bobcats vs. Central Michigan OddsThursday, November 10

The Ohio Bobcats and the Central Michigan Chippewas will fight each other on Thursday at Kelly/Shorts Stadium and the betting game will be televised on ESPNU.

Ohio took back control of the MAC East with its upset of Temple last Wednesday – improving its weekday log to 7-1 ATS in the process – and both our BSN Sports database and BSN Sports analysis feel the Bobcats will keep their claws on the division for at least another week.

Head coach Frank Solich is a sterling 6-1 ATS away with revenge (2009 MAC title game) versus .333 or less opposition and his Bobbies own a 156-yard stat advantage over Central Michigan against the three common foes they’ve faced this betting season.

And while the Chippewas are 5-1 ATS in their next-to-last home game of the season, we’re not about to trust a worn-down defense (No. 86) that is playing its 11th straight game without a break.

Before last season – thanks to QB Dan LeFevour – it had been five years since CMU spent the holidays at home.

But with the graduation of their four-year starter in 2009, the Chips are down for a second straight campaign and there’s no reason to believe they’ll cash in tonight.

Make like Nike and ‘Just Do It’ as Solich gets his much-awaited revenge.

Ohio is the favorite - 7 point against Central Michigan.
